Regents scores are now posted in Eschool.
Some of you did a really good job, and you should be as proud of yourselves as I am of you. For many of you, your hard work - either all year or one you realized you needed to make a change - really paid off.
As a reminder, passing the Regents is separate from passing the course. I have posted this in the past, but am reminding you of the State Examination Policies. The ink is below, as is the paragraph that applies to passing the Regents but earning a failing grade in the course (see te last sentence below.) I reviewed each affected student on an individual basis based on your overall performance in the categories listed in the first sentence.
Enjoy your summer!

SECTION SIX
AWARDING OF CREDIT AND
ISSUANCE OF REGENTS DIPLOMAS
Awarding of Credit for Courses of Study
A course of study involves class attendance, homework assignments, quizzes, tests, and other
instructional activities. In many instances it also involves the taking of a State exam at the end of the
course. When deciding whether a student who is enrolled in a course of study has satisfactorily
completed the course and is entitled to credit for such course, the teacher should evaluate the student’s
performance on all these activities. In accordance with Section 100.5(a)(5)(v) of the Regulations of
the Commissioner of Education (http://www.p12.nysed.gov/part100/home.html), passing the Regents
Exam in a subject shall not be construed as having earned a unit of credit in that subject unless the
student also passes the course as offered in a registered high school or meets the requirements for
credit by exam. (See section below, Students Not Enrolled in Courses of Study.)

Regents Scores
We won't finish grading Global exams until Monday afternoon. You can call your Guidance Counselor, or maybe check Eschool, Thursday or Friday for your grades. They should be back from BOCES/NYS sometime on one of those days. I will not have special access to them, I only get them once they're in Eschool. I have no access to email while we grade (and once we're done with your exam, we will immediate start grading the US History Regents exams) so will not see any emails you send...which means I won't be responding to any emails you send. Guidance, Eschool, and your report card are whee you will find your Regents score, once it becomes available.
Enjoy your summer!

Perfect Attendance & Review
If you have signed up for Friday's review but have been invited to the Perfect Attendance Luncheon, please let me know by Friday so I can mark you as coming late (so I know you didn't bail.) It is perfectly fine for you to come to review late in order to celebrate this achievement.
Sign Up for very last review on 6/4 is...
The ONLY day you will be able to sign up for the last review on Monday, 6/4 (day before your Regents Exam) will be Friday, 6/1. You can do it before school, before or after your class period, or at review on 6/1 if you are attending. Space is limited, so you might want to come before 1st period to sign up.
It is from 2-5:30, you are required to stay for the entire review. If you can't, don;t sign up. You will cause someone else to lose a partner & another group to tripe up & lose out of review time if you leave early. This is unacceptable.
